Our agency spotlight for this month is a foundation that has been helping men and women diagnosed with breast cancer treatment, both mentally and physically, since 1993. The Alamo Breast Cancer Foundation was founded by 4 women breast cancer survivors. These women saw that there were foundations dedicated to aiding in the prevention and detection of breast cancer but not a place where those diagnosed with breast cancer could go to for help. Through this vision, the Alamo Breast Cancer Foundation was born in San Antonio, TX. Just last year, in 2013, the foundation dedicated 17,000 hours to their cause.
