Extreme Makeover: UTSA Edition
Last year over 250 UTSA students participated in a range of projects to help beautify the UTSA Main Campus. This year we hope to increase the amount of students that participate! The date for the 2013 Extreme Makeover: UTSA Edition will be Friday, October 4, 2013; sign up will start in early September. Come to our VOICES general meeting or come by the VOICES office to sign up and get more information!!
OXFAM Hunger Banquet
The OXFAM Hunger Banquet is an experiential dinner, where participants eat a meal based on the class/status that they draw on their way in the door. Participants have the opportunity to learn about global hunger issues, and participate in group discussion about the causes and realities of hunger. Email email@example.com for more information! Alternative Spring Break
Alternative Spring Break is a chance to give back during your break. Participants consistently say it is one of the best experiences of their lives! Past trips include Habitat for Humanity in Corpus Christi, Big Bend National Park, New Orleans Rebuilding, Orphanages in Piedras Negras, Mexico, Oklahoma City, and more!
The 2013 trips were: Atlanta, GA to focus on creating community and urban poverty; and San Antonio, TX to focus on education and mentoring youth.

United to Serve
UTSA's annual day of service is United to Serve. Students, faculty, staff, alumni, and friends participate in one of many volunteer opportunities one Saturday each April. Individuals and groups can sign up to participate online beginning in early March. More information will be posted in March, or you can contact firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
